KISS Driving Instructor Tymek Skroban in Gloucester - Katie

Katie passed her driving test with just 3 driving faults! ✅🚗 Katie started her journey as a complete beginner. Like many of instructor Tymek's students, she experienced quite acute anxiety, which meant her learning process took longer — a total of 96 hours. After the initial 36 hours in a manual car, Tymek made the decision to switch to an automatic so Katie could relax behind the wheel and truly understand how calm and enjoyable driving can be. After 15 hours in his Kia e-Niro automatic, once her confidence had grown, they switched back to a manual car to complete her driving education. From the early lessons, it was clear that Katie had a real talent for controlling a manual car. However, her anxiety held her back in more challenging environments, such as Gloucester, Cheltenham, and other busy areas. By working steadily on confidence and exposure to difficult situations, Katie overcame those barriers and became a capable and confident driver.
