KISS Driving School Gallery of Passes

Liam from Lydney passed his driving test on the first attempt with NO faults! He needed just 43 hours to complete the job. He had some experience with learning to drive before but failed his test then (a long time ago). Most of the things he picked up very quickly. His commitment and perseverance have been superb. Well done, and safe driving for life from instructor Tymek and everyone at KISS Driving School .  

Julian from Monmouth passed his driving test on the first attempt. He needed 57 hours to overcome his nerves and pass with seven driving faults. Instructor Tymek said his commitment and perseverance were first-grade. Well done, and safe driving for life from everyone at KISS Driving School .

Isabelle from May Hill passed her driving test on the first attempt. She needed 81 hours to overcome her nerves and pass with just a few driving faults. For the last 20 hours or so, instructor Tymek mainly trained on the manoeuvres. Isabelle is a natural-born driver and did many things instinctively very well, but passing the test requires additional skills that were initially difficult for her to grasp. Well done, Iza, and safe driving for life from everyone at KISS Driving School .  

Lily from Parkend passed her driving test on the third attempt with just 2 driving faults. After 53 hours of dedicated training with instructor Tymek , she finally overcame her initial nerves and passed with flying colours. Tyke said that it always puzzles him how some of his students can initially fail their test, only to eventually pass with just 2-3 driving faults. They go to the test fully prepared to drive independently, but nerves get the better of them until they realize that it is not such a big deal after all. Tyke never brings his students unprepared. Congratulations to Holly from Ruardean on passing her driving test! It’s impressive that she succeeded on her first attempt with just 24 hours of training and only 2 driving faults. Adapting from Dubai’s straight, wide roads to the British roads, especially with roundabouts, can be quite a challenge. The trip to Bristol was a great way to ensure she can drive independently in any busy location. Safe driving for life, Holly and well done from instructor Tymek and everyone at KISS .  

Kelis from Gloucester passed her test on the first attempt after 62 hours of training. Another student in succession with 0 (ZERO) driving faults for instructor Tymek ! Very well done Kellis!  

Cat from Cheltenham passed his test on the second attempt after 65 hours of training. She had 0 (ZERO) driving faults. Cat trained with Instructor Tymek almost from scratch.  Well done Cat and safe driving for life!  

Gez from Stroud passed his test on the first attempt after 58 hours of training. He had 4 driving faults. Gez trained with Instructor Tymek from scratch and they had a really good time together. Tyke commented that Gez was patient with me and himself and also very committed. Being a musician and a songwriter we educated ourselves about music as a spin-off. Well done Gez and safe driving for life!  

Tasin from Gloucester passed his test on the first attempt after 16 hrs of training. He had 4 driving faults. Instructor Tymek said it has been an easy job with him. He had had 2 instructors before Tymek and could drive quite well already. Tymek is proud that he made him a fully-fledged driver within a reasonably short time. Tasin did not wish to post his picture. Well done Tasin and safe driving for life from everyone at KISS Driving School .  

Toni from Gloucester passed her test on the first attempt after 51 hrs of training. She had just 3 driving faults. Instructor Tymek sad that " it has been quite a journey for us after two previous episodes with other instructors for Toni. I am pleased to say, she is a fully-fledged driver now and she promised me to go to Bristol straight after the test when she buys a car to see her friends and family (latest update: Toni did go to Bristol on her own few days ago and reported she has been completely fine) ." Sylva from Gloucester passed his test on the first attempt after 5 hrs of training. He had 4 driving faults. Instructor Tymek said "Sylva, it's been a pleasure to help you. I didn't have to do much, as you were already quite good when you came to me. All the best and stay safe on the road. " 😁  

Alexander from Cheltenham passed his test on the first attempt after 18 hrs of training. He had just 1 driving fault. Alex was already a very experienced driver when he came to Instructor Tymek , so he didn't need much help. Tymek had to merely guide him through the process. A few tricks and tweaks did the job reasonably quickly. All the best to Alexander from everyone at KISS Driving School .  

Abbi from Drybrook passed her test on the first attempt after just 23 hrs of training with Instructor Tymek . She had just 2 driving faults. When Abbi came to Tymek she could already drive to an extent, but the gap in her driving plus her anxiety made their work a bit harder than it should have been. Nevertheless, she did a brilliant job without any significant problems. She desperately wanted to drive to do school runs for her kids, among other things. Well done and congratulations Abbi from everyone at KISS Driving School .  

Jordan from Lydney passed his test on the third attempt after 43 hrs of training. He had just 1 driving fault! Congratulations from Instructor Tymek and all at KISS Driving School .  

Galina from the Tewkesbury area passed her test on the first attempt after 34 hrs of training. She had 6 driving faults. Congratulations from Instructor Tymek and everyone at KISS Driving School .  

Charlie from Minsterworth near Gloucester passed his test on the first attempt after 38 hrs. He had 4 driving faults. Charlie has gone through the whole process with the breeze. Instructor Tymek wished all his students were as straightforward as him. From the start, most of the things seemed natural to him and made sense. In the beginning, Tymek tells all of his students that everything they learn from him must make sense because he constantly asks them why we do certain things. Charlie is now a fully-fledged driver. Well done!

Lauren from Newent passed her test on the first attempt after just 22 hrs. She had only 1 driving fault. Instructor Tymek said it was fun teaching Lauren. She came to Tymek already driving quite well but she needed a boost in her confidence, especially on roundabouts. In the end, she’s been flying, even on the complex ones, looking where she should be and reacting to it. Well done Lauren from everyone at KISS Driving School . 😁  

Kevin from Gloucester passed his test on the first attempt after 35 hrs. He trained with Instructor Tymek from scratch. He had 5 driving faults. Tymek remembered when he met Kevin on their first lesson. He could barely control the car and he was nervous, like anybody else in his position. They had ups and downs but eventually they have been everywhere – Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Swindon (and magic roundabout😊), Bristol and of course Gloucester. Now he is a very confident driver, able to go on his own anywhere he wants. Nothing new really, as far as Tymek is concerned.  

Joseph from Drybrook passed his test on the second attempt after 77 hrs of training with Instructor Tymek  from scratch. He had 7 driving faults. Joseph was one of Tymek's last students that he taught in the manual car. Tymek has had so many students asking for an automatic car that he gave up almost entirely teaching on a manual car. Coming to Joseph, it‘s took a year to get there but now they have. They were everywhere – Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Swindon (and a magic roundabout😊), Bristol and of course Gloucester. Now he is a very confident driver, able to go on his own anywhere he wants. Nothing new really, as far as Tymek is concerned. Hollie from Cinderford passed her test on the first attempt after 37 hrs. She had 4 driving faults. KISS Instructor Tymek said, "We've had a great time together but most importantly Hollie is a confident driver now. She struggled a lot with anxiety and said at the beginning of our lessons she wouldn’t enjoy driving. I’ve heard it a few times before and each time my students were wrong. They all enjoy driving 😊. Hollie says she’s not afraid of driving to unknown places. Well done Hollie and enjoy safe and fluent driving."
