Congratulations to Owen from Longhope!  Owen passed his driving test on his first attempt, with just 3 driving faults! Instructor Tymek wrote:  Owen came to me with previous experience from two other instructors. Unfortunately, he didn’t enjoy his earlier lessons — firstly because they were in a manual car, and secondly because no one addressed the underlying issue: his anxiety. I work with many students who struggle with nerves, and I know how important it is to deal with this properly. So instead of focusing solely on driving skills, we focused on managing his anxiety first. After just a few sessions, Owen became calm enough to fully concentrate on learning to drive. It took him only 37 hours to reach the level where he could confidently drive us to Swindon, including the Magic Roundabout, Bristol, and many other challenging routes. Liam from Lydney passed his driving test on the first attempt with NO faults! He needed just 43 hours to complete the job. He had some experience with learning to drive before but failed his test then (a long time ago). Most of the things he picked up very quickly. His commitment and perseverance have been superb. Julian from Monmouth passed his driving test on the first attempt. He needed 57 hours to overcome his nerves and pass with seven driving faults. Instructor Tymek said his commitment and perseverance were first-grade. Well done, and safe driving for life from everyone at KISS Driving School .

Isabelle from May Hill passed her driving test on the first attempt. She needed 81 hours to overcome her nerves and pass with just a few driving faults. For the last 20 hours or so, instructor Tymek mainly trained on the manoeuvres. Isabelle is a natural-born driver and did many things instinctively very well, but passing the test requires additional skills that were initially difficult for her to grasp.
