Zehra from Coleford passed her driving test on the first attempt with just two driving faults! She needed 75 hours of lessons and almost 9 months from scratch to drive properly and pass her test. On average, people are ready to drive independently as beginners after 50-70 hours on an automatic car with me ( instructor Tykmek ). Initially, we struggled to communicate since Zehra spoke very limited English. Thanks to modern technology, we could get by using the AI translator. After some time, her English improved massively, thanks to community English classes. I would like to think modestly I contributed to her English as well! From the very beginning, it was apparent Zehra had a knack for driving. In the end, just before her test, we went to Bristol to see if she was fully independent as a driver so she could take her family to Ikea for Swedish meatballs😊. Going to the Magic Roundabout in Swindon and Bristol city centre became a routine for me. My students greatly appreciate that, but ...

Isabelle from May Hill passed her driving test on the first attempt. She needed 81 hours to overcome her nerves and pass with just a few driving faults. For the last 20 hours or so, instructor Tymek mainly trained on the manoeuvres. Isabelle is a natural-born driver and did many things instinctively very well, but passing the test requires additional skills that were initially difficult for her to grasp. Lily from Parkend passed her driving test on the third attempt with just 2 driving faults. After 53 hours of dedicated training with instructor Tymek , she finally overcame her initial nerves and passed with flying colours. Tyke said that it always puzzles him how some of his students can initially fail their test, only to eventually pass with just 2-3 driving faults. They go to the test fully prepared to drive independently, but nerves get the better of them until they realize that it is not such a big deal after all. Tyke never brings his students unprepared. Congratulations to Holly from Ruardean on passing her driving test! It’s impressive that she succeeded on her first attempt with just 24 hours of training and only 2 driving faults. Adapting from Dubai’s straight, wide roads to the British roads, especially with roundabouts, can be quite a challenge. The trip to Bristol was a great way to ensure she can drive independently in any busy location. Safe driving for life, Holly and well done from instructor Tymek and everyone at KISS .  

Congratulations to Kim from Cinderford for passing her driving test on the first attempt! After many hours of dedicated training, she overcame initial nerves and sailed through with just 4 driving faults. Instructor Tymek was worried that Kim would panic during her test but she held your nerves and boy, she drove brilliantly. Great job Kim and see you on the road.  

Abi from Drybrook passed her driving test on her first attempt after 16 h of training. She achieved this with just 3 driving faults! Abi came to instructor Tymek already driving well, because she drove a car with her husband regularly for years. Tyke corrected her use of mirrors and the general awareness and how to act on complex roundabouts and that was it! Congratulations from everyone at KISS .  

Kelis from Gloucester passed her test on the first attempt after 62 hours of training. Another student in succession with 0 (ZERO) driving faults for instructor Tymek ! Very well done Kellis!  

Cat from Cheltenham passed his test on the second attempt after 65 hours of training. She had 0 (ZERO) driving faults. Cat trained with Instructor Tymek almost from scratch.  Well done Cat and safe driving for life!  

Gez from Stroud passed his test on the first attempt after 58 hours of training. He had 4 driving faults. Gez trained with Instructor Tymek from scratch and they had a really good time together. Tyke commented that Gez was patient with me and himself and also very committed. Being a musician and a songwriter we educated ourselves about music as a spin-off. Well done Gez and safe driving for life!  

Tasin from Gloucester passed his test on the first attempt after 16 hrs of training. He had 4 driving faults. Instructor Tymek said it has been an easy job with him. He had had 2 instructors before Tymek and could drive quite well already. Tymek is proud that he made him a fully-fledged driver within a reasonably short time. Toni from Gloucester passed her test on the first attempt after 51 hrs of training. She had just 3 driving faults. Instructor Tymek sad that " it has been quite a journey for us after two previous episodes with other instructors for Toni. I am pleased to say, she is a fully-fledged driver now and she promised me to go to Bristol straight after the test when she buys a car to see her friends and family (latest update: Toni did go to Bristol on her own few days ago and reported she has been completely fine) ." Sylva from Gloucester passed his test on the first attempt after 5 hrs of training. He had 4 driving faults. Instructor Tymek said "Sylva, it's been a pleasure to help you. I didn't have to do much, as you were already quite good when you came to me. All the best and stay safe on the road. " 😁  

Alexander from Cheltenham passed his test on the first attempt after 18 hrs of training. He had just 1 driving fault. Alex was already a very experienced driver when he came to Instructor Tymek , so he didn't need much help. Tymek had to merely guide him through the process. A few tricks and tweaks did the job reasonably quickly. All the best to Alexander from everyone at KISS Driving School .  

Abbi from Drybrook passed her test on the first attempt after just 23 hrs of training with Instructor Tymek . She had just 2 driving faults. When Abbi came to Tymek she could already drive to an extent, but the gap in her driving plus her anxiety made their work a bit harder than it should have been. Nevertheless, she did a brilliant job without any significant problems. She desperately wanted to drive to do school runs for her kids, among other things.
